 All Manda Rider wants on her first year in university is a fresh start to forget her painful past. But what happens if an enemy from her past, a murder, and a handsome ally suddenly enter her life?

The first of seven, Manda Rider 1 is the story of a new university student, Manda Rider who's hesitant to make friends with anyone on campus only  to run into an old face from high school. An old face she didn't necessarily get along with. 

Her start to making friends isn't very realistic, at least not from my own personal experience. She naturally has a bright, friendly room-mate with tons of friends which she readily introduces her to. It's a small gripe for me, nothing big that impacts the story.

By the end of the first chapter, Manda has met a girl who's father died due to her own father, a guy she has had a bad encounter with previous to the story and discovered via her uncle that her father has been arrested for the murder of his wife. If that's not enough action and progression for you I don't know what will be. 

Unfortunately the author experienced plagiarism on numerous occasions and has thus stopped posting on Fictionpress leaving only the completed Manda Rider series up. While the author will not be posting more, their current work still hosted on the site is well worth the read.
