This story is not for the easily disgusted. The humour can be extremely crude and gross, but in such a fascinating way that you will continue to read on. Even people who don't particularly like this story will feel the pull to keep reading.

The main character, Eric Lynch, is diagnosed as mentally unstable and within the first few paragraphs you can pretty much see why. He has amazing depth and character as a highly cynical, very intelligent man who happens to see things that might or might not be there. Things like talking lions and demons.

Dr. Self Destruct has truly incredible, clever and witty prose that is awe inspiring and captivating. It conveys and strengthens Eric's trouble mind perfectly. I wouldn't be surprised to see the author published in the future. Dr. Self Destruct is a cruder, funnier Terry Pratchett.

Just as a random last note, even the chapter titles were well thought out. "It's times like these where all I want is a big F****** Gun." 1-12 as it stands currently.
